³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ Awards for Graduate Students

Award

The program offers ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ University and The College of New Rochelle (CNR) undergraduate alumni and dependents of alumni a one-time, $1,000 scholarship when enrolling for the first time in one of our graduate programs. The scholarship cannot be combined with any other ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ University scholarship. 

³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ will continue to offer the ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ/CNR Alumni Assistance Scholarships to those who qualify, for future terms.

Eligibility

  • ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ and CNR undergraduate alumni that have not previously started or completed a ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ University graduate program
  • The dependent (spouse, partner, child, legal guardian) of ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ and CNR alumni that have not previously started or completed a ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ University graduate program
  • There is no restriction on program of study
  • Scholarships will only be awarded while scholarship funds are made available

 

The School of Business at ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ University wishes to attract new graduate students who will start their studies in the 2025-2026 academic year. Accordingly, the School is providing a program to encourage new incoming Business Graduate students, who have performed well academically in their undergraduate programs, with scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year. 

Applicants to each of the Graduate Business Programs will be automatically considered for one of two scholarship awards when they apply for admission to start in the 2025-2026 academic year and then begin their studies in that year. These applicants will not be required to complete a separate application. 

Awards will be granted based on the student’s undergraduate (bachelor’s) GPA as follows:

*The GPA used for this purpose will be the GPA the student earned from the institution that conferred their undergraduate degree and converted to the U.S. 4.00 scale.

There is a limited amount of scholarship money available for the 2025-2026 academic year and scholarships will only be awarded while scholarship monies are still available.

Scholarship Application Process: There is no separate application required. Applicants are automatically considered for scholarships upon admission to the program. 

Scholarship Requirements and Payment Schedule:

  • Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come first-served basis as determined by the receipt of a completed application.
  • Scholarships will be one-time and will be applied to the student’s tuition bill equally over four consecutive quarters beginning with the first quarter in which the student is enrolled in the 2025-2026 academic year.
  • Students will be notified via email from the School of Business if selected.
  • The student must register for at least six credits each quarter.
  • When a scholarship is awarded, it must begin in the quarter for which the student requested admission during the 2025-2026 academic year. If the student defers admission, they may forfeit their scholarship.
  • Scholarships CANNOT be combined with other scholarships or awards.

An annual award to a ³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ undergraduate alumni majoring in Business who intends to pursue an MBA. The Fellowship will be awarded on a competitive basis, involving the submission of a project essay, a transcript and an application. The successful student will be provided with funds to supplement tuition assistance during the year the student is enrolled in the MBA program. To be eligible students must be new, not re-admits or continuing students. 

 

This scholarship is for students in the Educational Supervision MS program and the Educational Administration MS program.

Scholarship: $1,500 per term

Initial Eligibility for the Scholarship:

  • For applicants to the Educational Administration program or the Educational Supervision program
  • 3.00 GPA from Undergraduate or Graduate Coursework

To continue receiving the scholarship each term:

  • Must register for at least 6 credits per term
  • Must maintain a 3.50 GPA in the graduate program

     

*Students will be automatically considered for this scholarship based on their GPA and do not need to apply separately for it.

 

Outside Award Opportunities for Graduate Students

Sponsored by the National Science Foundation, this scholarship provides tuition support as well as support for other expenses such as books, supplies, fees and equipment. To be eligible students must be a declared Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Mathematics major and have completed at least CISC 231; must be a US citizen or national; must be PELL eligible and have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be a full-time student. Selection is made by the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science and is competitive. Please see the program director for more information.

 

Positions are available in the Health Service Office for students in the Graduate Nursing Program. For full tuition reimbursement, students work an equivalent number of weekly hours to the number of weekly hours of instruction. Please see the program director for more information.

 

Scholarships, fellowships and other forms of financial assistance are available for advanced study in nursing from various nursing, health and other philanthropic organizations. Interested students should contact the Director of the Graduate Program in Nursing for further information.
